Moderator of the General Assembly to lead this week's Sunday Service

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Reverend Finlay Macdonald will lead the Sunday Service this weekend at the University's Memorial Chapel.
The annual visit to the University by the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt Reverend Finlay Macdonald, will take place this weekend.
At the morning Service on Sunday 19 January, the Moderator will dedicate new Chapel furnishings including the Wall Hanging commisioned by the University, the new Table and new Lectern built by the craftsmen of of the University's Estates and Buildings Department and the Choir Robes generously donated by Ede & Ravenscroft.
The Service will begin at 11am and staff who wish to join the Academic Procession are asked to assemble at 10.45am.
The University Chaplain, Rev Stuart McQuarrie, extends a warm invitation to who wish to attend - all are welcome.
