Welcome to the BA Festival of Science

The University plays host all this week to the 2001 British Association Festival of Science, and extends a warm welcome to speakers, delegates and visitors.
Registration at the BA Festival of Science is free for University of Glasgow staff and students. As many as 10,000 people from throughout the UK are expected to participate, ranging from pre-school children to international experts.
Launching the Festival to members of the press earlier this week, Sir William Stewart, President of the BA, spoke of a 'kaleidoscope of science for all'.
