Professor Peter Vanezis of Forensic Medicine will give a press conference today at 1pm in the Woolfson Seminar Room (please see map at http://www.gla.ac.uk/general/maps/campusmap.html).

Professor Vanezis is Director of the Centre for International Forensic Assistance, which has been put on standby to assist with the aftermath of this week's terrorist attacks in America.

There has been a widespread welcome from UK and international organisations for the Centre for International Forensic Assistance which was launched at the University yesterday.
