A Glasgow scientist working in Finland has found that some cases of male infertility may be caused by a gene defect which could rob the sperm of power.

Professor Howy Jacobs, a Molecular Geneticist in the University's Institute of Biomedical & Life Sciences, has undertaken the research while on a secondment to the University of Tampere, Finland.
