Weipers Lecture Postponed

Because of the Foot & Mouth disease outbreak the Sir William Weipers Memorial Lecture on Friday 18 May has been postponed until Thursday 20 September, 2001.

Because of the Foot & Mouth disease outbreak the Sir William Weipers Memorial Lecture on Friday 18 May has been postponed until Thursday 20 September, 2001, at 5.30 pm in Boyd Orr Lecture Theatre 1.

The lecture, by Sir William Stewart, FRSE, President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, will be on the subject: "The other side of the fence - a Glasgow botanist and Whitehall.
