Details of how UofG UNISON members can claim their strike pay for industrial action that took place in September 2023

Wage slips for October 2023 will shortly be issued in both the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art and this memo is intended to serve as a reminder of what you need to successfully claim national strike pay.

All members eligible to claim strike pay have been emailed a copy of the claim form they need to complete.

What do I need to do to claim?

To help your branch make payments as quickly as possible, you need to do the following to claim national strike pay:

  • Your UNISON membership number
  • A completed claim form.
  • A full copy of your October 2023 payslip which clearly details your deducted wages.

Email both documents to us (preferably together) at unison@glasgow.ac.uk no later than: Friday 10 November 2023.

If we do not get the required information, this may delay your claim as we try to contact you.
