Join us for a range of activities designed to help you settle into university life, make new friends, and explore Glasgow!
From campus tours and cultural workshops to social events and practical information sessions, International Student Welcome is your chance to connect with other international students and get the support you need for a successful start.
Glasgow Airport Meet and Greet
Our friendly UofG Welcome Team look forward to welcoming you at Glasgow International Airport on Thursday the 10th, Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th September from 11:30am to 6pm.
The Welcome Team are all current students who can answer any questions, and offer advice and directions to local transport and taxi services (Please note we do not provide onward transport).

Discover Glasgow University with one of our campus walking tours! The tour introduces you to key buildings, useful facilities, and a bit of our history, helping you get your bearings.

Experience a lively evening of traditional Scottish music and dancing at our Welcome Cèilidh - no experience needed, just bring your energy and join the fun! It’s a must-do Scottish experience!

The University Chaplain will give you a tour of places of worship, reflection and prayer on campus. The tour will finish with a free pizza lunch.
