Summer Schools
Summer Schools
Summer schools are a unique opportunity as they offer more flexibility in terms of where and what you study. Courses vary in length from one to six weeks so you can apply for any opportunity that fits your schedule and budget.
These opportunities may be of particular interest to those wanting to spend time abroad but who are unable to go abroad for a semester or full year away. Opportunities available vary from year to year so be sure to read the information below carefully.
You can:
- Expand on your current subject expertise
- Explore new subjects that are outside the scope of your degree or not offered by the University of Glasgow
- Develop transferable skills for your future career
- Learn or improve on a foreign language.
The first round of summer school applications for 2025/2026 will open on the 4th of December 2025!
- If you have a question about the UofG application process email the Short-Term Mobility Team
- If you have a question about a Summer School please contact the relevant institution directly.
