Santander X Entrepreneurship Competition

Kreuzberg Chocolates will be pitching at a national Entrepreneurship competition hosted by Santander Universities.

Jennifer Malik, alongside her business partner Jen is one of over 80 budding entrepreneurs participating in the Santander X Entrepreneurship Awards 2021 pitching to have a chance to win £75,000 in seed funding and business support in London this week.

Jennifer and her business partner Jen run Kreuzberg Chocolates, a craft chocolate company with a conscience. With a mission to put people and planet first, they carefully research and select ingredients and materials to ensure a no-compromise personal approach to create fine flavours with a conscience. Kreuzberg aim to play their part in the sustainability agenda by being as circular as possible in their materials and working practices.  

Each of their chocolate and their components is handcrafted in their home kitchen in Glasgow recreating personal stories, memories and experiences from both Germany and Scotland. Offering both a one-off purchase and a subscription service, with flavours ranging from Milk and Honey through to Brown Butter Salted Caramel they are the perfect gift for someone else (or yourself!).

Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards launched in 2011, since then it has grown to be on of the UK’s largest student and graduate business pitching competitions. This year entrepreneurs have been involved in a bespoke, online programme of support to help their business to scale The programme culminates in a pitching competition held at Wembley with judges including Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Santander UK CEO Nathan Bostock.
