U18 International Student Classes

Series Description: We run a bespoke series of lectures and workshops for new international students under the age of 18 years to support their transition to study at the University of Glasgow and enhance their academic development.

Topics covered include:

  • Transitioning into academic study at university (e.g. what does it mean to be a university student and expectations of university students)
  • Time management
  • Academic integrity (how to understand and avoid plagiarism) and AI
  • Academic writing
  • Language and communication

Target Audience: These classes are only for international students under the age of 18. If you are eligible for this programme, you will receive an email with further details.

This series will run online in Semester 1 (September-November 2026).

Mon 2 Nov 16:00-17:00 Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence at University Academic Integrity is essential in all assessments and academic work. This session explains academic integrity and also looks at the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in academic work. Teams Link
