International Women's Day Lecture - 2002

On 24th March 2002 we celebrated International Women's Day by inviting Ms Qaisra Shahraz (third from the left, in the left hand photo), a college lecturer and inspector to speak on women's issues. She is an acclaimed writer, her last novel is the Holy Woman, and she has written, plays, essays and scripts. She entertained and enthralled the audience with her thoughts and postulations.

She is a role model, not only for Asian women, but for women in general. We were both honoured and delighted that she had agreed to deliver the lecture

Sgned copies of her book, Holy Woman, were sold at the event
