Innovation Cluster Development Fund
The Innovation Cluster Development Fund is now open for applications, with an application deadline of 2nd November 2026 at 12 noon.
The Innovation Cluster Development Fund (ICDF) supports early-stage projects to enable staff to develop innovative ideas that may have potential for a spin-out venture, social enterprise or licensing opportunities, or worthy of exploration through other commercialisation routes.
ICDF will assist project leaders to validate and mature these innovations, identifying gaps that need to be filled in the journey to commercialisation and realising the potential of our new and groundbreaking discoveries.
This call is open to all academic staff members (including post-doctoral researchers and PhD students) at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University who have salary support in place until 31 July 2027.
The fund is now open to applications with a deadline of 2nd November 2026 at 12 noon.
