Code of Conduct for the Use of ICT Facilities in the University of Glasgow
The IT (information technology) Code of Conduct, also known as the IT regulations, is the code to which all users of the University provided ICT (information and communication technology) system (including but not limited to hardware, software, Eduroam) must abide. This includes all staff, students, contractors, affiliates, honorary and visiting staff, visitors and members of the public, and any other users of the ICT facilities.
By using any of the provided services, you agree to abide by these rules. It outlines our acceptable use policy and gives clear guidance around what you can/cannot do when using University provided equipment. This also applies to users bringing their own devices but accessing the University’s network or University digital content.
For more information and to ensure you are accurately informed, please read through the Code. The Code can be found on the Information Security Policies page.
