Managing Performance (for People Managers/Reviewers)

Please note this course is suitable for people managers or for those who have been selected as reviewers as part of the performance review process only.  

The aim of this one-day workshop is to build managers’ competence and confidence in managing and supporting performance here at the University of Glasgow.  Participants will be supported to understand how to set and maintain standards in performance; how to give constructive feedback; and how to support both good performance and support performance improvement. The workshop will develop participants understanding of the University’s Managing and Supporting Performance policy and explore other resources and tools available to help them develop high performance in their teams.  

This course involves pre-course reading. All participants must have read the Managing and Supporting Performance Policy prior to attending the workshop.
