Create our Identity Competition! Winning prize £1000

Published: 18 September 2018

We would like your help to develop a name, identity and ethos for how we deliver services on campus

Have you seen our new Learning and Teaching Hub being built on our main campus?  This is an exciting new development that will be an inspirational and diverse learning space that will give all of our students the support they need to succeed.

Do you want to be a part of this exciting new development?

As part of the opening of the Learning and Teaching Hub, the University is launching a new approach to delivering support and access to services on campus.  We would like your help to develop our name, identity and ethos.  The winning team will receive £1000, a goodie bag of technology and the support to make their idea a reality!

What are we looking for?

We are asking you to create an identity, including a name and a logo, to represent the new student service delivery model.  This is a very exciting opportunity for you to develop an identity and approach to student service delivery on campus.

How can you get involved?

  • Get a team of 3-5 people together (we welcome applications from all registered University of Glasgow students)
  • Put together your ideas on identity including shared ethos, values and behaviours
  • Submit a short video outlining the key aspects of your proposal

You can find more detailed information about the submission process here.

The video submissions will be reviewed and a maximum of 5 teams will be invited to build on their proposal and be asked to present their ideas to a small panel from industry, University Staff and the SRC.

The closing date for video submissions is Friday, 19th October 2018.

To submit a video or find out more about the competition, please visit our website.  You can also contact create-competition@glasgow.ac.uk if you have any questions.  Good luck!
