The 2018/19 call for applications for the Lord Kelvin Adam Smith (LKAS) Interdisciplinary PhD projects is now live.

The University of Glasgow is pleased to announce that the 2018/19 call for applications for the Lord Kelvin Adam Smith (LKAS) Interdisciplinary PhD projects is now live.

Each scholarship is open to Open to home, EU and international students and offers:

  • Up to 4 years stipend at UK Research Council recommended rates - estimated to be £14,764 for 2018/19
  • Annual research support budget of £3000
  • Full tuition fee waiver

The LKAS PhD scholarships offer the opportunity for outstanding research students to participate in some of the most exciting areas of interdisciplinary research carried out by the University.

From the projects advertised only 10 scholarships will be awarded based on the quality of the applicant.
