Part of University Services? Want to volunteer?

Published: 14 September 2015

Two volunteering activities are available for University Services staff to take part in this September and October.

The volunteering scheme within University Services has been running for a year now and we have held 15 events, encouraging 87 volunteers to take part.

Two volunteering activities are available for University Services staff to take part in this September and October.

The first is Wednesday (23rd September)  and is with Cornerstone, the social care organisation.  They are looking for a small group of volunteers to help them with a group that they host at their service in Dalmarnock.  On the day, they will be doing a variety of activities from hair and beauty, dominos and fingerpainting.  Transport will be provided.

The second is quite different and is with the Conservation Volunteers, the environmental charity.  Here we are looking for a group of volunteers to go to Glasgow Green and plant meadow seedlings.  It will take place nearer the end of October (Monday 19th October)
