If you are planning an event, of thinking about bidding to host an event, it's time for you to get in touch with the UofG's Conference & Visitor Services Office - CVSO.

You may already be planning to organise an event in the next few years, have had some initial thoughts about bidding for an event or be curious about what would be involved in organising a conference?  If so, now is the time for you to get in touch with us: the University’s Conference & Visitor Services Office - CVSO.

University of Glasgow staff,  have access to a range of benefits and services which will make the job of organising an event an altogether more enjoyable task.

Conference & Visitor Services offer a broad range of services designed to save you time and resources when planning conferences and events both on and off campus.  Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Campus Venue Search & Selection – matching venues to your event requirements
  • External Venue Search & Selection – preferential rates at a range of non-university venues across West Central Scotland
  • Event Management – handling all aspects of the support services required to facilitate your event

With an impressive list of prestigious conferences and events already confirmed up to 2019, and the diaries for 2016 and 2017 already incredibly busy, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you or any of your colleagues to discuss the support CVSO can offer.
