Professor Anna Dominiczak Vice-Principal and Head of The University of Glasgow College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences has been identified in the BioBeat 2015 Movers and Shakers report.

The report recognises 50 inspirational women in biobusiness in the UK who are challenging the status quo to bring better health to people around the world.

Anna was commended for being at the forefront of developing Scotland’s activity in precision medicine, working with the National Health Service and industry partners to form a unique triple-helix partnership that aims to progress research to benefit wider society.

One of the world’s leading cardiovascular scientists and clinical academics, Anna’s major research interests are hypertension, cardiovascular genomics and precision medicine, with research income in the last three years totalling over £30 million.
