Winter Graduations

The Winter Graduation Ceremonies will shortly be taking place. Staff are warmly invited to attend the services  beforehand in the University Chapel.  For those wishing to take part in the academic processions for the chapel service, please go to the Forehall corridor 10 mins prior to the start of the service. Service times are noted below :-

  • Tuesday 1 December        Chapel Service  09:30
  • Tuesday 1 December         Chapel Service  14:45
  • Wednesday 2 December   Chapel Service  09:30
  • Wednesday 2December    Chapel Service  14:45

A Graduation Mass of Thanksgiving for Roman Catholic graduands and their guests will be held at 9:15am (for 11.00am ceremonies), 10.15am (for 12 noon ceremonies) and 2.15pm (for 4.00pm ceremonies) at Turnbull Hall, 15 Southpark Terrace.

If you would like to take part in the academic procession for the Graduation ceremony, then please go to the Hunterian Museum 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Please note the start times below :-

Please note

The online staff gown ordering system is run by Ede and Ravenscroft and an email has been sent to all those with registered accounts. Gowns can be hired for staff wishing to take part free of charge and the order must be placed by 16 November 2015. If you do not receive an automated email  from Ede and Ravenscroft and you wish to order a gown for the Winter Graduations please email staffgowns@glasgow.ac.uk and we will create an account for you with Ede and Ravenscroft.
