USS Proposals for Reform – Responding to the Consultation

The formal consultation on the proposed changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) runs until 22 May and you have until that date to submit your response. The consultation is your opportunity to have your say on the proposals and you are encouraged to participate in the consultation process. You can visit the consultation website at www.ussconsultation.co.uk.

Nine briefing sessions for staff were held in March and April at various locations throughout the University to assist and provide USS members with the opportunity to raise questions. For those who were unable to attend any of the sessions a copy of the slide presentation is available at www.gla.ac.uk/usschanges.

All USS members, and staff who are not members but are eligible to join, will have received a letter and an information leaflet providing a summary of the proposed changes and further information about how you can access the full consultation information, and provide your response.
