USS Proposals for Reform

The proposed changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) are now the subject of a formal consultation with affected employees and their representatives.

The proposed changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) are now the subject of a formal consultation with affected employees and their representatives. The consultation will run from 16 March until 22 May.

All USS members, and staff who are not members but are eligible to join, will have received a letter and an information leaflet providing a summary of the proposed changes and further information about how you can access the full consultation information, and provide your response. The consultation is your opportunity to have your say on the proposals. You are encouraged to participate in the consultation process.

The University is planning briefing sessions for staff during the consultation period to assist and provide USS members with the opportunity to raise questions. Details of these sessions are as follows:
