International Summer Schools

Students from across the globe will be attending summer schools at the University of Glasgow.

The University of Glasgow is hosting its annual International Summer School which will be starting on 22 June. 

Students from Mexico, US, Australia, Hong Kong, Portugal, India, Taiwan, Morocco and China will be travelling to Glasgow for a three or four weeks of study.

U21 Summer School

The University of Glasgow will also be the host for this year’s U21 Summer School.

From 1-15 July 2015, the University of Glasgow will host the annual U21 Undergraduate Summer School, with 85 students and staff from seventeen U21 universities expected to attend.

The theme of the event is 'Cities and Citizens in the Digital Age', and will offer a programme of seminars and practical experiences demonstrating how new technologies can be used to support and improve the vital components of a fully functional city. This will cover citizen engagement, transportation, energy, big data, protecting vulnerable groups and physical regeneration, with a focus on how key services are increasingly informed and influenced by emerging technologies.

Past hosts of the U21 Summer School include: University of New South Wales; University of Connecticut; Tec de Monterrey, Mexico and University College, Dublin.
