Speakers who stood on the famous red circle included the University's Jim Brewer, Chair of Basic Immunology in the Institute of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation who compared the workings of the immune system to finding love.

Other speakers included world cyclist and UofG alumnus Mark Beaumont, who championed the creation of a culture where young people make real choices about their futures based on their passions and skills. We also heard from tennis coach Judy Murray who shared insights into her work in grass roots tennis – we particularly liked her slide of Andy Murray as a young boy with a swing ball!
