Staff are being asked to avoid parking near the Dumbarton Road gate while district heating scheme works go on this week.
Staff are being asked to avoid parking near the Dumbarton Road gate while district heating scheme works go on this week.
Estates and Buildings and the main contractors are particularly concerned about the lay-by at that location. This is because preparations are underway for the arrival of large chimney sections for the new, Energy Centre. A 350 tonne crane is being used and for a while, is going to be located in Kelvingrove Park, behind the Principal's Lodging and the Davidson Building. The Gate area is needed for access.
