If you are leaving the UofG, some of your unwanted stuff might help local charities and food banks.

Then you might want to get rid of some of the clutter that you may have collected in your flat over the semester.

In order to help you repurpose some of the items you no longer need or the food that you might have left over in your cupboards, GUEST and the SRC are running an End of Term Collection.

Please donate

You can bring all your unwanted items, clothing, books and dried foods or long-lasting foods at the SRC Welcome Desk (John McIntyre Building, Ground Floor) up until Thursday, 18thDecember.

Your donations will be redistributed to local refugee charities, homeless charities and food banks to help feed, cloth and raise money for people who need it this winter. This way you will not only divert waste from landfills, but also brighten someone else’s winter with your generosity.

For more information you can email the GUEST Waste Reduction Promoter, Kate, at kate.whitaker@glasgow.ac.uk

We thank you for your donations!
