Susannah said: "The program starts on the 24th of June, and I will study for 6 weeks. I have never been to the US, so it is going to be a very exciting new adventure! The Cornell Club of London is extremely kindly funding my tuition fees for two courses, as well as accommodation and some living expenses.

"The courses that I have chosen to study are ‘Contemporary Moral Issues’ and the ‘Psychology of Language’. I’m very excited to learn about the moral issues in society today. This is something that studying law has highlighted as an area that I am interested in, and I enjoy reading about this topic in my spare time. It will be very interesting to experience what the American university teaching style and culture is like; I have heard it is very different from the UK system!

"I’m also looking forward other adventures out with the classroom. When researching Ithaca, I noticed that the phrase ‘Ithaca is gorges!’ seemed to crop up on many of the tourism websites. I’m eager to visit the beautiful gorges and waterfalls that are close to campus."
