Round-up of Cycle Glasgow 2013

Published: 20 August 2013

This year's Cycle Glasgow event proved a great success, with all money raised going towards the Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre

Early on Sunday morning 442 eager cyclists lined up in Kelvingrove Park to take part in Cycle Glasgow 2013, to raise essential funds for the Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre.

‌Gina McKie, late night radio presenter for Radio Clyde, welcomed participants to the start line before setting them off on their 13 or 26 mile cycles to Clydebank and back along the Forth and Clyde Canal.

This was the 11th Cycle Glasgow and to date the event has raised more than £350,000 for Leukaemia Research.  Lets hope this year takes us over the £400,000 mark. Well done to all who took part!
