Since the beginning of the year over 90 staff along with SRC officers have been involved in Specialist User Groups, contributing to the design and enhancement of MyCampus. Whilst their work is not yet at an end, we are immensely grateful for their contribution and participation to date.

Having made significant changes to the system and procedures for registration, we need to make sure that they meet the needs of registering students and those registering them.

We are keen that different volunteers from across campus test the system and so would welcome members of staff to come forward and help in the process. Details of all the scheduled sessions can be found on the MyCampus Support and Development sharepoint site or by contacting slsd@glasgow.ac.uk

As well as making sure the developments are fully tested we need to make sure people are trained and able to use the system with confidence. This is where we need you again.  As has been mentioned in E-News and elsewhere recently, it is essential that staff take advantage of the training on offer in order that they fully understand how MyCampus works in relation to their role and are able to use it effectively.

Details of all the training available, as well as the regular drop-in sessions on offer for more informal support, are published on the Student Lifecycle Support & Development website http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/studentlifecycle/mycampustraining/ through which you can also book onto courses.
