LGBTQ+ Gym Classes
May 4, 18, more tbc
Stevenson Building (in person)
Book tickets (Classes need a minimum of 5 participants so please sign up in advance)
The LGBTQ+ Staff Network is collaborating again with University of Glasgow Sport to offer fitness classes in May 2023 and June 2023!
We offered several online Zoom workouts in 2021. This year all classes will be on campus in the Stevenson Building. Full access to the gym and pool is included before/after the fitness class!
We want to create a safe and respectful place for all participants, so these classes are exclusively for the LGBTQ+ Network members, and we have made sure the instructors have completed equality and inclusion training.
When: 4 May @ 10:30am
Duration: 30 mins
Workout centred around the use of suspended training harnesses to target strength in the core!
When: 18 May @ 15.00
Duration: 60 mins
Improve and challenge your flexibility, strength, balance along with improving your posture whilst releasing tension and using breath to calm the body and mind. A yoga mat would be beneficial for the floor yoga exercises but don't worry if you don't have one!
Further classes to be announced
