Note: Gathering a misbound between gatherings b and c;  leaves misbound in gathering e and also in gathering m (with an early annotation in Latin at the foot of l8v and m2v noting the misplacements in gathering m).

Binding: Scotland, full brown morocco (ca. 1960), new endpapers;  earlier sprinkled red-edging retained;  previous binding unrecorded.   Size:  242 x 172 mm.
Leaf size: 231 x 163 mm but turned-over upper corner of d7 reveals that the leaf measurement was at least 235 x 167 mm before cropping.
Annotations: References in Latin to Epistolae 104 and 105 on title-page (A1r);  brief prayer in English in a 17th-century hand on the verso of the blank leaf A8;  marginal reference on c4r to Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester;  very occasional “nota” marks and underlining.
