Binding: France, 18th-century red morocco decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves underlaid with marbling;  green silk bookmark.   Size:  198 x 140 mm.
Leaf size: 193 x 134 mm.
Annotations: Occasional early marginal annotations - almost all so washed out as to be illegible;  occasional underlining;  traces of early signatures.
Decoration: Initials supplied in alternate blue and red throughout;  capital strokes supplied in faded yellow throughout.
