Binding: Scotland, 19th-century half calf, marbled sides;  gold-tooled spine with oval gilt stamp of Glasgow College Library at foot of spine;  sprinkled red-edged leaves;  binder’s ticket “Bound by Carss, Glasgow” on front pastedown;  binder’s job number(?) “2/48” in pencil on a1r and a2r.   Size:  278 x 203 mm.

Annotations: Occasional marginal annotations in Latin in a 16th-century hand;  more frequent marginal annotations in English in a 17th-century hand;  occasional underlining.
