Binding: Italy, 17th/18th-century vellum with fore-edge cover extensions;  black leather title label on spine - partially overlaying a handwritten title;  yellow-edged leaves.   Size:  185 x 140 mm.

Annotations: Occasional marginal annotations, all so washed out as to be illegible;  text of missing leaves 14/8 and 14/9 (ff. 116, 117) supplied in a humanist hand.
Decoration: Three initials on 1/1r supplied in red and blue with some pen-flourishing (the blue much washed out) and a fourth initial supplied in blue which is now almost completely washed out;  paragraph marks in red or blue throughout (the blue heavily washed out);  capital strokes in red throughout.
Imperfections: Wanting leaves 14/2.9 and 14/3.8 (ff. 110, 111, 116, 117) and the final blank leaf.
