Provenance: Schönau, Hesse-Nassau, Benedictines, S. Florinus:  15th/16th-century inscription on 1/1r “Libru[m] istu[m] [con]tulit s[an]c[t]o florino in sconaug d[omi]n[u]s osualdus pleban[us] n[oste]r in lipporn req[ui]escat in pace” followed by manuscript title in a different hand and by a shelfmark “HXIIP” (the latter in red ink);  shelfmark “B8” in black ink on fore-edge;  shelfmark “H.xij” in black ink on lower edge.
Osualdus (fl. 15th/16th century), ‘Dominus Plebanus’ in Lipporn  - see above.
William Euing (1788-1874), insurance broker, Glasgow:  source unknown;  an early Euing inventory number “60” in pencil on front pastedown and verso of front free endpaper.
University of Glasgow:  presented by Euing in 1872 according to University Library bookplate on front pastedown.
Binding: Scotland, 19th-century blind-tooled calf over bevelled boards;  binder’s ticket ‘Bound by Carss & Coy. Glasgow’;  thin parchment manuscript guards visible at the middle of each gathering;  eight parchment tabs.   Size:  307 x 227 mm.

Annotations: Occasional early marginal annotations, “nota” marks and corrections of text e.g. in gathering 7.
Decoration: Seven-line initial ‘C’ on 19/6v (f. 154v) supplied in dull red on a square ground of brown pen-work decoration extending into the centre margin;  a similar six-line initial ‘V’ on 23/1r (f. 185r);  all other initials supplied in red;  paragraph marks in red.
Imperfections: None.
