Binding: 18th-century mottled calf, covers bordered with a double gold fillet;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  sprinkled red-edged leaves;  front and rear flyleaves have watermark initials “D I S”.   Size:  407 x 285 mm.
Leaf size: 401 x 275 mm.
Annotations: Error in the signature of g4 has been corrected in pen-and-ink (probably in the printer’s office - cf. the BMC copy);  several sections (Differentia 16-23, 87-100, 155-172) have extensive marginal annotations and underlining  in the hand of the owner, Guilhelmus Winshemius;  occasional marginal annotations elsewhere in a different 18th-century hand;  18th-century price “1 11 6” in pencil on first front flyleaf.
Decoration: Fourteen-line initial “U” on a2r, col. 1, supplied in red and blue with reserved white and decorated with red pen-work which extends into the inner margin;  a seven-line initial “Q” on a4v supplied in similar style;  other initials and paragraph marks throughout supplied in alternate red and blue;  running headings underlined in red.
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaf a1.
