Recruitment and Selection
This e-learning course is mandatory for all Appointing Committee members who will sit on an interview panel representing the University of Glasgow, or for those who are otherwise significantly involved in the recruitment and selection of staff. The online Moodle course covers practical advice for the effective recruitment and selection of staff, including an overview of the process and system, strategies for attracting suitably qualified candidates, and guidance of shortlisting and interviewing in line with job requirements.
Recruitment and Selection Online Moodle Training
In conjunction with completing this course, the following must also be completed::
- Read the supporting Recruitment information, including Recruitment & Selection Policy.
- Complete Diversity in the Workplace online training (minimum score of 80% required)
- Complete Unconscious Bias in HE online training (minimum score of 80% required)
