Faith & Belief on Campus

The University of Glasgow celebrates and values the diversity of its students, staff and visitors and aims to create an environment where the cultural, religious and non-religious or similar philosophical beliefs of all are respected.

The University is strongly committed to interfaith working and the Interfaith Chaplaincy provides spiritual support and facilities for students and staff of all faiths and none.

The University’s Religion and Belief Guide gives background information and local contacts for all major faiths. The aim of the guide is to provide some information that would enable you to find a place of worship appropriate/ suitable to your needs. The University provides a small number of quiet spaces for prayer and contemplation. Please see the Chaplaincy webpages for further details.

The University’s Religion and Belief Equality Champion who acts as a channel of communication for staff and students to raise issues in relation to religion and belief.
