Guidelines for the Accreditation of Prior Learning to Contribute to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Degree Programmes

Guidelines

Following agreement on the minimum amount of credit required to be studied at the University of Glasgow in order to qualify for an award of the University, full Guidelines on the Accreditation of Prior Learning have been developed. Paragraph 7 of these guidelines outlines the minimum criteria which must apply when the University awards its qualifications to candidates with APL.

Paragraph 21 was added in July 2011 following Senate's agreement on arrangements for ungraded APL credit in the application of regulations for degrees and other awards.
