Examinations - Entitlement to sit (Class Tickets)

Policy and Guidelines

(abolition of the 'Class Ticket' system)

Academic Regulations Committee confirmed the University's existing policy that the 'class ticket' system (in which students could be prevented entry to end-of-course examinations) had been discontinued and went on to clarify that although students could not be barred from end-of-course examinations, there could be instances where they had not met course requirements and therefore would receive a CR (credit refused) result irrespective of their examination performance.
