Teaching Services

'Teaching services' arrangements are a broad category of collaboration where the University contracts with a partner for either the University or partner to deliver a course(s) that will form part of the others' programme.  For example, a partner may deliver a specialist course which provides essential training for University students.  In most cases the partner will be a degree awarding body in their own right and the University will recognise the credit delivered by the partner within the programme.  Where the partner is not a degree awarding body, the University will remain responsible for the oversight of content and all assessment, which must be carried out in accordance with University requirements as set out in the Code of Assessment. If the University is providing content for the partner, then it will be delivered in the form of an existing or new course approved through standard University processes - the University will not deliver content developed and owned by the partner organisation.
