The University of Glasgow encourages authors to make their publications open access and has a range of support available to facilitate this. This session will introduce the University of Glasgow’s approach to open access, including funder and REF requirements, and explain what authors need to do to make sure that their outputs are open access. We will also discuss the Research Publications and Copyright Policy and options for open access for monographs and other long-form publications.

This session is open to staff of the University of Glasgow. Graduate Teaching Assistants are welcome to register for the purpose of developing their own teaching practice, but please note that these sessions are not suitable for any students seeking training for their own PhD research projects.
