Blackfriars (Unite)
Keys can be collected from Blackfriars, 4-6 Blackfriars Road, Glasgow, G1 1QL from 10:00hrs on Thursday 8 January 2026.
Reception is open 10:00hrs-1200hrs and 15:00hrs-20:00hrs, 7 days a week. If you expect to arrive outside these times, please make a check-in appointment via the Unite Students app or by email blackfriars@team.unitestudents.com
Please note- Access and log in details for the Unite Students app will be notified by email around 7 days prior to the contract start date.
There is a drop off point for unloading belongings from a vehicle. You can borrow a trolley from the residence to move your belongings. Cars should then be moved to the car park at the end of Blackfriars Road where charges apply- you can pay by cash or the PaybyPhone app.

Cairncross House
Keys can be collected from reception at Cairncross House from 1600hrs on Thursday 8 January 2026 and during office hours thereafter (Monday to Friday 0800-1800hrs).

Dumfries Campus (Brooke House, Dumfries Hall and Laurieknowe Hall)
As Dumfries Residences are not staffed full-time, residents arriving to Dumfries Residences for semester 2 must email dumfries-accommodation@glasgow.ac.uk with the date and approximate time of arrival. If your arrival date or time changes, please keep us informed by email.
If you are currently staying in Maclay Residences and moving to Dumfries Hall for semester 2 keys will be available for collection on 31 December from the Main University Gatehouse, University Avenue. Please ensure you have photo id when collecting the keys.

Firhill Court (Homes for Students)
Keys can be collected from Firhill Court, 150 Firhill Road, Glasgow, G20 7BB from 1000hrs on Thursday 8 January 2026.
Security staff can issue keys for arrivals after 1730hrs and at all times when the office is closed. If keys are collected from security, residents MUST return to the reception/office during office hours to fully complete the check-in process and collect inventory documents.

Havannah House (iQ)
Keys can be collected at Havannah House from 1000hrs on Thursday 8 January 2026.
Office/reception standard hours - 0800hrs - 2000hrs Monday to Friday
Security staff can issue keys for arrivals after 2000hrs and at all times when the office is closed.
You must present photographic identification on arrival to collect your keys and complete the check-in process.
Your arrival envelope will contain your keys and QR codes to access the iQ app, which you will use to manage your stay.

Student Apartments
If you are arriving between Wednesday 24 December 2025 and Sunday 4 January 2026, keys should be collected from the main University Gatehouse on University Avenue which is open 24 hours. Photo identification will be required to collect your keys.
The Student Apartments’ Office will reopen for normal office hours (Monday to Friday 0800-1700hrs) on Monday 5 January 2026.
