Arrival Information for September 2025
Blackfriars (Unite)
Keys can be collected from Blackfriars, 4-6 Blackfriars Road, Glasgow, G1 1QL from 10:00hrs on Friday 12 September 2025.
Reception is open 10:00hrs-1200hrs and 15:00hrs-20:00hrs, 7 days a week. If you expect to arrive outside these times, please make a check-in appointment via the Unite Students app or by email blackfriars@team.unitestudents.com
Please note- Access and log in details for the Unite Students app will be notified by email around 7 days prior to the contract start date.
There is a drop off point for unloading belongings from a vehicle. You can borrow a trolley from the residence to move your belongings. Cars should then be moved to the car park at the end of Blackfriars Road where charges apply- you can pay by cash or the PaybyPhone app.

Keys for all our residences in Dumfries will be available for collection from 1600hrs on Friday 12 September 2025 at Dumfries Hall, McAllister Way (off Glencaple Road), Dumfries, DG1 4ZW
- Friday 12 September 1600hrs - 2000hrs
- Saturday 13 September 1200hrs - 1600hrs
UPDATED 2 September 2025: The collection hours for Saturday 13 have been changed and there is no key collection on Sunday 14 September.
Please have your Arrival Pass available (see the eInduction in your accommodation online portal)

Firhill Court (Homes for Students)
Keys can be collected from Firhill Court, 150 Firhill Road, Glasgow, G20 7BB from 1000hrs on Friday 12 September 2025.
Friday 12 September 2025- Football match taking place at Firhill Stadium, kick off 1945hrs. The surrounding area will be busy between1815-1945 and 2130-2215 as supporters arrive and depart. These details were updated on 28-8-25; when first published the match was scheduled for Saturday 13 Sept.
Security staff can issue keys for arrivals after 1730hrs and at all times when the office is closed. If keys are collected from security, residents MUST return to the reception/office during office hours to fully complete the check-in process and collect inventory documents.

Havannah House (iQ)
Keys can be collected at Havannah House from 1000hrs on Friday 12 September 2025.
Office/reception standard hours - 0800hrs - 2000hrs Monday to Friday
Security staff can issue keys for arrivals after 2000hrs and at all times when the office is closed.
You must present photographic identification on arrival to collect your keys and complete the check-in process.
Your arrival envelope will contain your keys and QR codes to access the iQ app, which you will use to manage your stay.

Security staff can issue keys for arrivals after 1700hrs on Friday 12 September and at all times on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025.
If keys are collected from security, residents MUST return to the reception/office during office hours to fully complete the check-in process and collect inventory documents.
Office/reception is open 0900hrs - 1700hrs Monday to Friday
The security team will be on site for check-in between 1700hrs-0900hrs and at the weekend until Friday 19th September 2025.

Lister House
IMPORTANT: The Lister House office is only open limited hours so please email lister@glasgow.ac.uk to confirm your arrival date and time. Please email with your details even if you have previously provided them to another address within University of Glasgow. You will receive an email confirmation that we have noted your arrival details and provide you with your key collection instructions.
Keys can be collected from Lister House from 16:00 until 20:00hrs on Friday 12 September 2025.
After 20:00hrs keys can be collected from the main University Gatehouse on University Avenue which is open 24 hours. Photo identification will be required to collect your keys.
The Lister House office will be open from 08:00- 18:00hrs on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025.

Keys will be available at the Student Apartments’ Office at 89 Gibson Street from 16:00 until 20:00hrs on Friday 12 September 2025. Photographic identification is required for key collection at all times.
When the office is closed you can collect keys from Wolfson Hall reception from University Security Staff. Contact Security Staff via the telephone entry system located on the left hand side of the main entrance door.
