Winter Hosting
Winter Hosting is an initiative at UofG aimed at enhancing the wellbeing and student experience of international students and fostering a sense of community amongst international students and university staff.
Our team will match international students who remain in Glasgow over the winter break with university staff members who volunteer as hosts. Hosts and students then take part in a festive activity of their choice on a day of their choosing during the winter break.
Activities could range from sharing a meal at the host’s home, going ice skating, attending a musical event or pantomime, or simply meeting up for hot chocolate!
