Wild Places in Urban Spaces: Transforming Glasgow for Bugs and Us

Saturday 15 June
11.00am–3.00pm
Hunterian Museum

A family day exploring how Glasgow landscapes can change to provide more food, shelter and safe routes for wildlife.

Our family friendly activities include a trail, eco-friendly crafts and a chance to get super close to some beautiful bug specimens.

Bug Specimen Table - specimens will be selected to represent insect life found in healthy local meadows. We will celebrate the transformative work of RSPB and other local environmental groups in transforming Glasgow meadows, wildlife planting and bee bank development. Visitors will learn how such transformations benefit humans and wildlife alike.

A new bug and bug-home themed trail will be available for young explorers to enjoy.
