Run by the Centre for Open Studies, this free event examines black nationalist groups and their leaders, exploring the key differences in their approaches to achieving civil rights. From Marcus Garvey to Malcolm X and the Black Panthers, the event studies their responses to social prejudice and racial discrimination.
