Join us for an evening to celebrate Alexander Wilson on the 200th anniversary of his death, with talks on the numerous facets of his life as a naturalist poet, and artist.

Speakers are Jed Burtt of Ohio Wesleyan University, co-author of the newly published biography Alexander Wilson: the Scot who founded American Ornithology, and from the University of Glasgow, Pat Monaghan (Ornithology), Gerry Carruthers (Scottish Literature) and Erma Hermens (Art History). Event followed by a reception and opening of the exhibition on Wilson at the Hunterian Zoology Museum.
