On 31 March and 1 April 2026, CREATe will host the first AI Regulation Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) Conference. This event will explore: how AI both shapes and is shaped by labour law, privacy and data protection law, consumer protection law, platform regulation, and intellectual property law, and what these dynamics mean for AI governance. This event will provide a platform for ECRs in the UK, the EU and beyond to present their work, receive feedback, and build an interdisciplinary network in the field of AI regulation.

CREATe Spring School 2026 - Remaking Creativity

The third edition of the CREATe Spring School will take place between 29 April to 2 May 2026. The School will address the topic of Remaking Creativity, enquiring about the interplay between human creation and technology, and brining together perspectives of copyright, competition and tech regulation scholars. The School is addressed to doctoral and advanced master students, early career researchers, industry representatives and policy makers with the interest in cultural and creative industries.
