NYC Alumni Attend Burn's Supper Celebration
A group of University of Glasgow alumni living in New York City were invited to attend a Burn's Supper celebration over the weekend of January 25th 2020. This was the first time the University of Aberdeen NYC alumni had organised a Burn's get together. The afternoon was spent in Maggie's Place in midtown Manhattan, with the highlight being everyone reciting a paragraph of Tam O'Shanter.
The group aim to run the event again next year, with the University of Glasgow hosting, and to encourage other Scottish University alumni to come along.
