Glasgow Science Festival 2026

Come and join the Living Lab to celebrate the people and healthcare innovations of Govan. Discover how the birth of ultrasound came from the Govan shipyards and explore how new types of imaging machinery are helping diagnose patients.

Travel - If you are travelling by public transport the nearest subway is Govan, the exit has steps to ground level. The Institute is a 4-minute flat walk with no steps.

Accessibility - The main entrance to The Pearce Institute has 3 steps. The accessible entrance can be found on Pearce Street and there are lifts within the building. There is disabled parking at the side of the building.
